I. Conferences, Oral Communications and Video-Presentations
Before the presentation:
Please register the presentations, including video presentations (in Avi, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV, or any other DVD video format) on the computers inside the Conference Halls and in the specially designed area, in the break prior to the session.
All the information needed for the presentations must be saved in a single folder.
Accepted portable devices: CD, DVD, stick USB and external Hardware only with 2.0 USB interface.
If your presentation contains movies, please check their compatibility with Windows Media Player.
Presentations containing animations and videos could cause real problems if they are not properly checked before the session.
If you are using your own computer (laptop), make sure to bring your own power cord and especially the the adapter cable connecting the system to the video projector. Please also bring any type of connectors you might need at some particular types of laptops.
For a proper projection of the information, please adjust your computer as follows: screen resolution 1024x768, no screen-saver and power option “always on”.
ALL PRESENTATIONS WILL BE DISPLAYED AT A 1024X768 RESOLUTION.
The Conference Hall’s technicians will be available in order to offer you assistance regarding your presentation and its preparation. The information for your presentation copied on the available laptop in the Conference Hall will be deleted by the Organizers at the end of the Congress.
During the presentation:
All the presentations transferred at the technical desk in the breaks between sessions will be saved on the computer shall be processed by the Conference Hall’s technicians according to the instructions received from the session’s chairpersons, announcing the abstracts.
The change of slides during presentation should be done by each speaker, either by using a portable device of PowerPoint presentations, placed at your disposal by the Organizers, (you will be guided in order to easily use it), either by using the mouse and keyboard.
If you want one of the Conference Hall’s technicians to operate the page change, you should let him know about your decision as well as about the right moment to change the slide, during the presentation.
In order to avoid the infecting of the computers with viruses please scan all the presentations and related materials prior to the Congress.
We agree with and respect the personal aspect of the information contained by the presentations and we shall treat it as such. Please do not hesitate to ask the Organizers any question whatsoever.
II. e-Posters
The e-Posters will be displayed all throughout the Congress in the specially designated area near the exhibition. The e-Posters will be displayed on the 23rd of November, 2011, starting with 17.00 until Saturday, 19.00 hours.
The Speakers are asked to be pressed in the e-Posters Area on Friday, November 25th, 2011, 13.00 - 14.00 hours.
If the electronic posters have not been given to the Organizers before the beginning of the Congress, these will be transmitted to the Posters area technician in order to be displayed. The presenting authors are kindly asked to check the documents with the technician.
Electronic poster format required resolution 768 x 1024 pixels, portrait orientation.
